Will was supposed to go to Salisbury today, but he was going to get the train from Bruton which would involve about a thousand changes and just take ages so I said, why don’t you just go from Templecombe? It’s only a 10 minute drive and it’s a direct line so you’ll get there in less than an hour. BUT ALAS. He went from Bruton. And what happened? He had to change at Westbury, missed the train and then one it broke down so he had to get one back to Frome and then a taxi back to Bruton.
It was clearly God paying him back for thinking he was better than me and not taking my advice.
Wednesday Dec 12 @ 05:12pmOkay so it wasn’t the whole team (it certainly wasn’t Phil and Tony etc.) and there was no digging and there were no cameras, but I still had an experience with Time Team!
They’re planning a dig in Bruton, on one of the playing fields at Will’s school, so we thought we’d go check it out and see what was going down! There were only two of them and it was only the two of us, but it was so cool! They explained what they were looking for and they had this crazy sonar type thing to see what the rocks were doing and they showed us and explained it all and basically it was just really exciting.
They’re looking for an old manor house, but also an Abbey that the manor was built on top of after it was knocked down during the dissolution of the monasteries and the people that owned the house were the Barclay’s and they were good friends with Charles I and so Bruton was of course a Royalist town during the civil war which could be the reason why it is no longer standing because of course the Cavaliers lost!
This might be really boring but omg I don’t care, it really interests me and the two time teamers were so so lovely and I felt so excited that I could have cried :)

I wanted to be a painter, Willy wanted to be a pirate, Ilona wanted to be the Black Swan ballerina, Amber wanted to be a spy and Kate wanted to be a mechanic :)

I’ve been in a relationship for over 18 months and I kind of miss meeting someone new and texting them lots and that really excited feeling. Like, no one looks at me because I’m not single and (this may sound really stupid and arrogant) but it makes me feel ugly or whatever because I’m not getting any male attention. (yeah, it sounds stupid and arrogant)
But I went to Bath with my boyfriend today, and on the train on the way back I was looking at him and thinking about how I miss being single or whatever, and I decided that I’d way rather have Willy than have one or two guys chasing me once in a blue moon. I think I just forgot how lucky I am to have him, he is probably the best thing in my life, and I would be absolutely stupid to give him up just so people might fancy me again.
This has been a pointless post :)
Sunday Oct 10 @ 03:20pm- I thought maybe a watch but if I did then I’d probably have to pay to get them to fiddle with it in the shop because he’s got some skinny ass wrists and I doubt the watch I like would fit him
- Then I thought I’d get him some beats, but some in ear ones so that he could wear them all the time but he found out and he says earphones in that style don’t stay in his ear
- So then I was like, HMMM. I want to buy him an iPod touch but they’re so expensive and I’m too poor.
- Clothes are boring and idk I want it to be something a little more sentimental perhaps…

I made toffee sauce this morning at work, but James mistook it for cheese sauce and so poured it all over some cauliflower thinking he was making cauliflower cheese but alas, no.
It was so disgusting omg, I tried some and I wanted to be sick! And you know what’s worse? They served it!! They served this toffee cauliflower to paying customers! I can’t believe they did that because seriously it was foul.
So yeah, only come to my pace of work if you want some toffee with your veg.
